Almost as good as Rhinebeck....I said "almost" mind you. But seriously check out the HUGE giveaway on Sandra Singh's blog, y'all! First off, there's a Jordana Paige knitting bag. I'm a huge fan of her bags. The bag is filled with various and sundry Sandra Singh yarn and patterns, just in time for fall & holiday knitting. Yay! Run over there and look and enter while you're there! I love all of the patterns but seriously think that "Frillery"is gorgeous.
While we're on the subject, this ol' Cinderella wants to go to the "ball" at Rhinebeck too. New York is just so far away from the Gulf Coast but you know it's gorgeous up there this time of year. Oh well, I belong to the Rhinebeck group on Ravelry, where I will be living vicariously through group members' photos, which I always enjoy. Have fun all you Rhinebecker's. Take lots of photos, I'll be waiting.
I'll end this post with a photo of an almost completed shawl/scarf/what-have-you. I called it "Improvisational Yarn Doodling" on Ravelry because this project is akin to doodling with pen and paper, only with yarn & a hook. Was going for an elongated triangular shape. Uh oh, that's no triangle. Oh well, it was fun, mindless & gave me something to do with my hands while watching TV. I just need to weave some ends and perhaps embellish the tips.
Have a great weekend!
