Eye Heart Ewe!

Just in the nick of time I have a pattern coming out and it's about time. I made the original for a Valentine card swap in one of the groups on Ravelry a year or two ago and have meant to write up the pattern ever since. It's a set of 3 coasters that "spell" out the phrase, in pictures, "I Heart (Love) You". The set is done in 100% cotton for maximum absorbency.

Here's a photo of the original version that had a crocheted envelope but in the interest of time and to try something new for me I decided to make the envelop out of poster board and will upload a tutorial on that this weekend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here you see the most recent version. Very similar to my original. I still need to add a few finishing touches, like the ewe's eyes and nose. How do I know it's a ewe? By her bow of course.
