Baby potluck...

Big, colorful crochet is always my go-to project when I crave the creative process but need a brain rest from more intricate knitting or crochet projects. It is fun, cheerful, easy & portable.

Here's what I'm working on at the moment. The finished project will result in a granny square baby blanket & toy rattle.

For the blanket I am using bright cotton yarn from my stash and an I hook. The pattern is simply one granny square. I might add some rows to make the blanket rectangular.

The toy rattle design I will be using is the Baby's Elephant pattern and will be worked in a couple of colors from the blanket.

I'm just loving all of the bright colors and large stitches! They are a big old dose of happy.

TGIF y'all!

  1. Ahhhh so cute! I looks so yummy and soft. :)

I have been replying to your comments on my blog, well I thought I was, you are a "no reply" which means you do not have your e-mail address in your profile on your blog so when someone tries to respond to your comment they can't. If you want to start getting e-mail replies then just edit your profile and put your email address in there, if not...I'll try to remember to hit you up either here or on Ravelry.

Hope you are having an awesome day and a super great weekend, too. :)
